One question.

Okay, Here goes. I just went throught Flashfire, and Firestorm again, and I loved the way you finished up the story concerning a few minor, minor characters, like Amitus Spark, and Wellford Brack. But, one guy I was wondering about was Second Lieutenant Herb Carman. What happened to him? I was hoping we would've found out if he made it out of the war in one piece.

Herb, like the other 120,000 men involved in the war on Ravenette, survived physically unscathed.  Went back to his home station and took a discharge.  One war was enough for him.  He went to the Miskatonic University in Arkham on a world known as Din Kay Dow and became a secondary school teacher.  He married, had six kids, and today is retired in Connalingas, the capital city of the Fallatrix Islands.  Now you got anymore gaddam questions, Soldrie, old soldier?
