Since the Confederation president announced the existece of the Skinks, will the Confederation set up a Colonial Milita force for the outer colnies to hold the line until the military arrives? Or does each  outer colony planet have it's own army?

 

Example: The U.S. has "The National Guard" to guard the nation in case of an attack which was a milita during The great American revolution. Ha! Take that tea and cake. Sorry had to make a few of you all laugh like Danners for instance. He really dosen't laugh that much although Jeppers is a comedian, well then wouldnt that make Eric Seth Green.

The message included a great deal of information about the Earthman Army and airpower and their tactics. This was inteligence that would serve the Emperor's army well when it next encountered the Earthman Army. As it most assuredly would.......

The message included a great deal of information about the Earthman Army and airpower and their tactics. all of the settled planets have their own military forces onworld. a planet like haulover may not have a standing defence force but maybe a parttime milita to defend the colony.

So then the outer colonies do have a defence correct? I know the inner colonies such as "Kingdom , Thorsfinnies, Dimandue" have armies of their own.

They do but in most cases Militia are just undertrained civvies with guns, at best they would be a holding action not only because of their training but also because they aren't equipped as well as regular forces...and outrim worlds like Haulover don't have the time, money and people to waste on an army
